Welcome to the website for the
El Camino Real High School
Class of 1970.
This site was created to help us stay in contact with one another.
Changes recently made to our website for 2008 include a CAPTCHA version of our Alumni Contact Form. That's the process where you have to type in the little weird looking letters which appear on the page in order to authenticate that you're NOT a snippet of software scripting, but in fact a live human. For those of you who hate the CAPTCHA system, we're sorry, but blame it on the spammers.
Our 2010 Reunion Survey Questionnaire is complete. Emails have been sent to people in our Alumni database. If you did not receive a survey request it's because we don't have your correct email address. This is VITAL. We need your email address for the survey. Please contact us so that we have a current email address for you. We need your participation in our 2010 Reunion Survey Planning, and it's online. So if you'll contact us, we'll send you to the link.
We can't place the link here because we'll get survey responses from people who are not part of our class nor part of any other graduating class from either Taft High or Canoga High School. This survey is open to graduates from any of the three High Schools, but primarily we need responses from ECR 1970 graduates.
There's a bonus. If you complete the online survey, and you were part of our 1970 graduating class, we'll send you a Retrospective DVD of our 2000 reunion, which was held at Jonathan Beach Club, Santa Monica. It's about 30 minutes in length, and it just might get you into the mood to participate in our 2010 reunion. More details will be made available soon.

Several people have expressed an interest in becoming involved in the reunion planning process. All it takes is a willingness and ability to be involved a lot, and to put up with a great deal of stress. If you're up to the task let us know by email. Nancy Heytow Miller just signed on again. It's always nice to obtain recruits from the ranks of those who participated in past reunions. They already know the heartache of the committee process. It is fun to watch and reminisce.
